Wow! Fir Meadow Vic Xtra Mocha was 1st place intermediate kid at the 2007 National Show!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank-You Marie in Idaho for taking such good care of her and giving her the opportunity to go to nationals :). And
thank you to our Lord God and Creator who crafted this baby in her mother's womb. We still have her dam and sire and do plan
to repeat this breeding :).
Welcome to our Toggenburg site! Our dairy goat herd expanded in 2004 to include toggenburgs when
given first choice on a herd dispersal of some beautiful toggs. Though we keep our togg herd small, it doesn't
mean our vision for them or investment in them is small! Our favorite compliment given, by a judge in 07 one week
after her attending the National show was "The toggenburgs at this show are of high nationals quality". Then she
awarded Virtue and Freedom their GCH and RGCH wins.... :)
Our herd is tested annually for CAE via WSU and we run an all negative herd with last test being 2/15/07.
The girls are on DHIR (milk test), are appraised almost annually, and are shown. Due to our move from
Twisp, Wa to Central Point, Oregon in 2006, our showing was limited but the girls did well.

Herd Highlights:
2006: Freedom was named Reserve All American yearling milker by the National Toggenburg club. She
also brought in another GCH leg. Virtue and Vanilla both recieved their dry GCH legs with Virtue getting
a Best Junior Doe in Show. Vallarta pulled an RGCH at the Oregon State Fair and Whisper, only shown twice, pulled
in some 1sts.
2007: Vallarta has been named All American Dry Yearling with the National Toggenburg Club. Virtue
received Reserve All American Dry Yearling. Our first freshening toggs are coming in with VERY lovely Udders,
we are pleased.
Milk: very impressed with first milk records- hitting the 10# range on the first fresh 2 year olds.
Show: I'm only taking 1 to 3 toggs per show- not many, but they are working hard for us.
Megabucks show, Grants Pass, Or Victory was 2x 1st and 1x 2nd, Pegasus was 1x 1,
1x 3, and 1x 4th in a big class of boys... Buckling Xachary went jr ch in all 3 rings with the judges saying lots
about him :).
Red Bluff, CA 2 month old Xcellence went Grand in both rings and BJDIS in one :) (22 to 25 jr toggs were
there).
Redmond, OR 1st fresh 2yo Virtue took one RGCH in very tough competition. Doeling Xaviere (for sale)
we took to help with sanction and to our delight grabbed an RGCH too :).
Boise, ID We didn't go but a Vanilla doeling we sold, Mocha, did and went GCh in both rings for her new owner.
As mentioned above we weren't at nationals, but Fir Meadow Vic Xtra Mocha was and was 1st place Intermediate doeling!
Congratulations Marie Jones in Idaho!
RVDGA show in Jackson County, OR (local)- Freedom was 2x 1st and RGCH x 2 Vanilla was 2nd and 3rd, Virtue was
2x 1st and GCH and BOB, then BDIS in one ring! Baby Faith was RGCH x 2. a good show for sure.
Curry County fair in Gold Beach, OR (Or and CA exhibitors)- Virtue pegged another GCH/BOB and a Best Udder in Show!
Her daughter 'CeCe" garnered 2 GCH but was beat out by our lamancha dry yearlings for BJDIS both days. Baby Faith brought
in another RGCH. Freedom had 1 & 2, and Vanilla was 2nd both days behind Virtue.
Douglas County Fair, Roseburg OR. placings were consistent with the last fair, 2nd day. We did have the only toggs
at Douglas, but, Virtue was also able to swing another Best Doe in Show for her resume' :).
Oregon State Fair, Salem OR Sep 3. Virtue pulled RGCH (considered a full leg) under judge Joan Dean Rowe. The
choice for that ribbon was between her and maternal sister Freedom! We were honored to pull an adga ribbon in that highly
competitive show, especially on a first freshener!
Tulelake, CA Sep 8. The gals did well, especially considering we were back to back on fairs...
Toggs were AOP in with most breeds, including our lamanchas. Ce Ce and Xcellent Faith both got 1sts, Virtue
took GCH and then BDIS and also BUIS. We, of course were very well pleased. Our lm, Timbrel went RGCH for her
2nd leg (over 52 goats!)...
